Fantastic $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

The Main Attraction

The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade mapping application that can be used to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
